Birch Hollow

Birch Hollow is a canyon located on the east side of Zion National Park. Just outside of the park. It is close to 6 miles long and has 8 or 9 rappels depending on if you rappel down the first cliff or scramble around it. We rappelled down the first cliff. This canyon is awesome to say the least. We all had a great time and I am sure this was the first of many trips for me.

Arizona Repeals CCW Requirements

Arizona's Governor signs bill that allows law abiding citizens to carry a concealed weapon without a CCW permit. Arizona is now the third state to do so. I believe you are still required to have a CCW permit if you are within 1000 Ft. of a school zone and inside a establishment that serves alcohol. So the permit is still probably a wise choice. But having said that I'm glad Arizona is giving the citizens there freedoms back. Great Job Arizona.
